Letter
from a Messiah Scholar
Dear
Messiah Ministry Partners,
I praise
God for giving you a generous heart to support scholars like me and for allowing
you to be used by Him as a channel of His blessings and provision.
I am
Jonathan Santos and I am an orphan. I lost my parents when I was young due
to financial difficulty. It was a very long story, but by God’s
grace, He brought me to a Christian orphanage called “House of
Refuge”. I am so glad that He brought me there to know Him.
Last
August 2007, He sent me to America to attend a training sponsored by IBLP
(Institute of Basic Life Principles). We studied about God, His 49
character qualities and how we can teach them to others.
I am now
staying at IBLP Philippines with the other orphans who attended the
training. We have about 10 character coaches. We’re doing ministry
work in different parks here in the Philippines teaching street children
about God and His character qualities. We also teach in different
orphanages.
God uses
me in His own will and now God wants me to learn more and to draw closer to
Him. That’s why I chose to study at Messiah College and I am glad for
having you as one of my sponsors.
Thank
you and God bless you!
Sincerely,
Jonathan
Santos
