Prof. Janet Medina
Janet is a certified TESOL teacher (Asia Center for
TESOL), with an M.A. in Language Teaching, major in English (University of
Southeastern Philippines) and a Bachelor Of Secondary Education -
English (Western Mindanao State University). She has
been an ESL teacher to Koreans from 1999-2004 and an English teacher in a
formal classroom setting for nine (9) years. She has also gone to Indonesia
to teach English to Bank managers and Tourism Academy students on a short
term mission trip. Moreover, she’s a certified WorldTeach seminar
teacher: Teaching With Style, 7 Laws of the Teacher, 7 Laws of the Learner,
Teaching for Life Change and Walk Thru the Old Testament. Presently,
she’s a college professor of English and the program director of
TESOL & ESL at Messiah College.
Prof.Phoebe M.V. Parreñas
Phoebe is a certified TESOL teacher (Asia Center for
TESOL), and has an M.A. in Christian Leadership (International School of
Theology- Asia). Her college degree is B.S. Chemistry from Silliman
University. Over a period of six years, she has been to Cambodia and
Indonesia for short mission trips and taught English to Muslim adults and
youth in Davao and Indonesia. In addition, she’s a certified
WorldTeach seminar teacher: Teaching With Style, 7 Laws of the Learner,
Teaching for Life Change, Walk Thru the Old Testament, Vision of a Leader,
Secrets of the Vine and Prayer of Jabez.
